Well, at least triple A? Here’s my first attempt to interview people…Ah, the power of editing!

To be really honest with you, the whole process was kinda crazy. I’d never been to a press junket so I didn’t really know what to expect. I walk into the Regency Hotel, go upto the 18th floor, and walk into a floor full with chairs and a few open rooms. I find my way to a New Line rep and meet our contact who gives me the details on what’s about to go down. The cool thing was that they scheduled this junket on 4/20, which made perfect sense. What didn’t was the HK promo. It was all the weed laced election stuff…pretty lame. They should’ve done papers, blunts, grinders, etc…in my opinion. But whatever…

So I finally get called into the cue to interview Penn. When I get into the room its like a tanning salon. So many damn bright, hot lights. Man, I was nervous as hell. Not cause of Penn but because of the situation. He was cool though, and definitely prepped. He enjoyed talking…

Next up was Chris Meloni, known for his role on Law & Order SVU. I didn’t know shit about him, and really didn’t care that much so it was pretty quick. You’ll notice my extended slouch during the interview…

Finally, the most important interview in my opinion. The ever iconic Neil Patrick Harris! From his roles as Doogie Howser to playing himself in HK to my favorite, his role as Barney in How I Met Your Mother. I gotta say, dude has mad charisma. He’s very easy going and was as cool as you’d expect. Yes, I know dude is gay. Stop hating!

Overall, the experience was cool. Being involved from the beginning to the final stages of editing was also very educational for me. I definitely look to improve and grow from this process cause I definitely want to do this again…
