Last night Bun B had his Austin, Texas release party for his new album II Trill, his first project after the passing of his partna Pimp C. After much anticipation and multiple opening acts (Gerald G from Austin & Kinfolk Thugs from Memphis Wrecked it!) Bun B came on to the stage around 12:30am and rocked the party for an hour, maybe less, who cares? As soon as Bun B stepped on the stage the crowd was electrified and you could instantly tell that the wait was well worth it. Bun B ran though a variety of songs out of his extensive catalogue, starting out with a couple new cuts off his new album. He then went into some of his OG hits such as Pocket Full of Stones, Pushin’, Big Pimpin’, Let me See it, International Players and other various Slab Bangers. But the highlight of the night was when started his tribute set to Pimp C. He started the tribute with One Day, and instantly the entire crowd was throwin’ up the deuce, and freestylin’ the entire song! After comin’ off this track Bun B closed out the night with a couple tracks of II Trill, including That’s Gangsta, Keep it 100, and You’re Everything.

Needless to say the concert was dope, and probably one of the better concerts I have been to this year!
